Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lubbock-Cooper improves its record to 21-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to face the Rebels in a 5A Region I District 3 test on Friday, September 20. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 22-8. Tascosa lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX)

The Westerners now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palo Duro for a 5A Region I District 3 test on Saturday, September 21.
