In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Niles West Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Maine West Warriors.

The Wolves (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants enter the Central Suburban challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Highland Park was beaten by Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) in a Central Suburban challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Maine West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Maine East (Park Ridge, IL).
