The Memorial Day Matadors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Savannah Classical Academy Spartans to 1 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Matadors now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Baptist Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. Memorial Day will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Savannah Classical Academy drops to 2-15 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to clash with the Redskins in a 1A Area 3 outing on Thursday, September 19. The Redskins come into the outing with a record of 15-13. Bryan County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
