In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Vernon Vikings.

The Lakers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Parsippany was beaten by Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Crimson enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ).
