The Petoskey Northmen volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Traverse City West Titans to 2 in the Northmen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Northmen now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Cadillac for a Big North outing on Thursday, September 19. Petoskey will play a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Traverse City West drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to play the Trojans in a Big North outing on Thursday, September 19. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 17-1. Traverse City Central won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
