Georgia High School Volleyball - Upson-Lee can't hold off Pike County

September 17, 2024: Thomaston, GA 30286

In Tuesday's non-league match, the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) volleyball squad tipped the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 19. Pike County will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 15-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA).

The Knights (13-13) will now prepare for their match against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders enter the 3A Area 1 match with a 16-12 record. In their last match, West Laurens held off Howard (Macon, GA), 2-0, in a league match.
