The Cardinals now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host McCreary Central for a District 48 bout on Thursday, September 19. Wayne County will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Rockcastle County drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Casey County (Liberty, KY) to clash with the Rebels in a District 47 bout on Thursday, September 19. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Casey County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY)
