North Carolina High School Volleyball - Uwharrie Charter over Southwestern Randolph

The Uwharrie Charter Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Airy for a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. Uwharrie Charter will play a Granite Bears team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Southwestern Randolph drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to play the Patriots in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A outing on Thursday, September 19. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 5-8. Providence Grove won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)
