The Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Tivy for a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Friday, September 20. Veterans Memorial will clash with a Antlers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 19-10.

With the loss, Wagner drops to 7-21 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Friday, September 20. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 18-12. Smithson Valley won 3-2 in their recent league game against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX)
