The James Island Trojans volleyball squad (Charleston, SC), was edged 2-1 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC)

With the win, Summerville upgrades its record to 19-4 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to meet the Bengals in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 17. The Bengals enter the contest with a record of 9-2. Lucy Beckham won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC)

Next, the Trojans meet the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. James Island will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
