In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Cheshire Rams.
The Governors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels enter the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Shelton by Xavier (Middletown, CT), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Rams clash with the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 25. Cheshire will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
