In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Kearny Kardinals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the St. Peter's Prep Marauders.
With the triumph, Kearny advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Kardinals host Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Marauders now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bergen Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, September 22.
