With the win, Clinton County improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 2-4.

The Lakers now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Casey County for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Russell County will meet a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.
