The Cumberland County Panthers volleyball squad (Burkesville, KY), was defeated 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY)

The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Monroe County beat Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Cumberland County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marion County (Lebanon, KY).
