The Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) flag football tipped the host University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 26-20 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Portola will face a Knights team coming off a 6-0 league win over Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.

The Trojans (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning enter the Pacific Coast game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Sage Hill was edged by Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 27-6, in a league game.
