The Comets (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Southeast Raleigh was edged by Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Spartans play the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 22. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC).
