With the win, San Ysidro improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Cougars host Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 4-3.

The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Ysidro for a contest on Friday, October 10.
