In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Cimarron-Memorial Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Cheyenne Desert Shields.

The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV). The Mustangs enter the 4A Southern - Sky outing with a 2-2 record.

The Desert Shields now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sports Leadership & Management for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Cheyenne will clash with a Bulls team coming off a 8-0 league win over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV). The Bulls record now stands at 10-0.
