The Ovid-Elsie Marauders held off the host Clare Pioneers soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Marauders face the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a Mid-Michigan Activities game, on Thursday, September 18. Ovid-Elsie will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Birch Run (Birch Run, MI).
With the loss, Clare moves to 4-8 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 22.
