North Carolina High School Soccer - East Wake Academy knocks off Roxboro Community

In Wednesday's league outing, the host East Wake Academy Eagles soccer team scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Roxboro Community Bulldogs.
With the triumph, East Wake Academy moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A test on Monday, September 22. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-10. Neuse Charter lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host NCSSM: Durham for a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A test on Friday, September 19. Roxboro Community will clash with a Unicorns team coming off a 9-1 league win over Voyager Academy (Durham, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 10-0.
