The Comets now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host North Rowan for a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge on Monday, September 22. North Stanly will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, South Stanly drops to 2-4 on the season. The Rowdy rebel bulls host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to face the Cardinals in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A contest on Monday, September 22.
