The Gryphons now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Asheville School (Independent) for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will encounter a Blues squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Christ School (Arden, NC). The Blues record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Queen's Grant moves to 4-8 on the year. The Stallions host Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to encounter the Raptors in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A challenge on Monday, September 22. The Raptors go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Mountain Island Charter won 2-1 in their recent league contest against NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC)
