Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 5-3 in a league test.

With the triumph, Southern Wake Academy moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to meet the Grizzlies in a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Friday, September 19. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 8-1. Clover Garden School won 4-2 in their recent league test against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A outing, on Monday, September 22. River Mill will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
