The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) and the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), observed Inola's softball team get by Checotah by a tally of 7-3.

The Longhorns (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Berryhill (Tulsa, OK). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Berryhill was routed by Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK), 1-0, in a league contest.

The Wildcats now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glenpool for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 23.
