North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ayden - Grifton over South Central

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) volleyball knocked off the host South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Chargers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Vikings enter the Eastern Plains 2A/3A contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Tarboro was knocked off by Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Falcons battle the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a Big Carolina 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, September 18. South Central will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC).
