The Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Montachusett RVT Bulldogs (Fitchburg, MA), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blackstone-Millville for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Burncoat will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sutton (Sutton, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Montachusett RVT drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host South Lancaster Academy (South Lancaster, MA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 2-0. South Lancaster Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA)
