Fife Trojans (Fife, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Orting Cardinals (Orting, WA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Tacoma, WA). The Patriots come into the 2A South Puget Sound challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Washington edged Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals play the Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Orting will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Enumclaw (Enumclaw, WA).
