In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Southern Lee Cavaliers volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Jordan-Matthews Jets.
Next up, the Cavaliers face the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A game, on Thursday, September 18. Southern Lee will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC).
The Jets (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Four Rivers 3A/4A game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Uwharrie Charter Academy gained a win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
