Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Smith Valley improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Dayton (Dayton, NV) to encounter the Dust Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Dust Devils go into the test with a record of 10-6.

The Serpents now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Coleville for a 1A Western challenge on Friday, September 19. Mineral County will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Wolves record now stands at 5-2.
