Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 20. Campbellsville will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Lakers enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY).
The Golden Lions now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Boyle County for a District 45 challenge on Tuesday, September 21. Garrard County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 6-0 league win over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 6-4.
