The Whitney Wildcats held off the host St. Anthony Saints volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windward for a non-league test on Saturday, September 18. Whitney will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-7.

The Saints (1-11) will now prepare for their test against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores enter the non-league test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, La Mirada was nudged by Gahr (Cerritos, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
