In Monday's league contest, the Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Rockingham, VA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Flames come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA).

With the loss, Regents drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Appalachian Christian (Afton, VA) to battle the Trailblazers in a contest on Friday, September 22. The Trailblazers come into the contest with a record of 4-4.
