Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH), 11-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Flashes confront the Garfield G-Men (Garrettsville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Champion will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The G-Men enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to Waterloo (Atwater, OH).
The Warriors now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestview for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey challenge on Monday, September 25.
