In Monday's league battle, the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Copiah Academy Colonels.
The Crusaders (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Manchester Academy nudged Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
