The Blacksburg Bruins held off the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bruins now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cave Spring for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Blacksburg will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.
The Cavaliers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, William Byrd held off Glenvar (Salem, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
