Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hollidaysburg can't get by Altoona

In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers.

The Mountain Lions now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Chambersburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Altoona will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Hollidaysburg drops to 5-3 on the season. The Golden tigers host Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to meet the Bison in a Mountain League test on Tuesday, September 19. The Bison come into the test with a record of 2-5. Clearfield lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)
