The Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) soccer bounced the host East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 5-0 in Monday's league bout.
With the victory, Burns moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Golden Lions enter the bout with a record of 8-1. Shelby lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC)
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A bout, on Wednesday, September 20. East Gaston will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
