Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bearcats confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Hendersonville will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 9-0 league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC).
The Trojans now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Brevard for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Chase will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-3.
