North Carolina High School Soccer - River Mill knocks off Clover Garden School

The River Mill Jaguars soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Clover Garden School Grizzlies to 1 in the Jaguars league victory on Monday.

Next, the Jaguars face the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest, on Wednesday, September 20. River Mill will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).

The Grizzlies now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A contest on Thursday, September 21. Clover Garden School will face a Knights team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Knights record now stands at 3-9.
