In Monday's league battle, the visiting James Kenan Tigers soccer squad scored a close 7-2 triumph over the South Lenoir Blue Devils.
The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings come into the East Central 2A battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Kinston was overwhelmed by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
