Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 9-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Mount Pleasant will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, September 20. South Stanly will confront a Comets team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Comets record now stands at 2-8.
