The Pinecrest Patriots soccer team scored 9 points and limited the host Scotland Fighting Scots to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.
Next, the Patriots face the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest, on Wednesday, September 20. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Bucks enter the contest with a 9-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
The Fighting Scots now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee County for a Sandhills 3A/4A contest on Wednesday, September 20. Scotland will face a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 6-1 league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-4.
