The Lutheran Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Air Academy Kadets to 3 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lutheran improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Red-Tailed Hawks in a 4A Pikes Peak game on Wednesday, September 20. The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the game with a record of 11-4. Cheyenne Mountain won 5-4 in their recent league game against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)

In their next game, the Kadets clash with the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak game, on Wednesday, September 20. Air Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Rangers come into the game with a 8-8 record after their 10-2 league loss to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).
