The Baconton Charter Blazers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Quitman County Hornets to 0 in the Blazers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Baconton Charter moves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Blazers travel to Miller County (Colquitt, GA) to clash with the Pirates in a 1A D-II Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 19. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 11-5. Miller County won 12-4 in their recent league game against Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Terrell County Greenwave (Dawson, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 game, on Tuesday, September 19. Quitman County will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
