Georgia High School Softball - Buford bounces Walnut Grove

The Buford Wolves routed the host Walnut Grove Warriors softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Wolves (17-0) will now prepare for their battle against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights go into the 7A Region 8 battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Central Gwinnett was routed by Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 20-0, in a league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chestatee for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 19. Walnut Grove will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 3-12.
