Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) and the visiting Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA), witnessed Coffee's softball squad tip Telfair County by a count of 5-2.

The Trojans now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ware County for a 5A Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 19. Coffee will meet a Gators squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Gators record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Telfair County moves to 8-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to meet the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 19. The Red Devils go into the match with a record of 9-5. Hawkinsville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
