The Weatherford Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Woodward Boomers to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Weatherford improves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Eagles host Bethany (Bethany, OK) to clash with the Bronchos in a 4A District 2 game on Tuesday, September 19. The Bronchos come into the game with a record of 16-12. Bethany lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Elk City (Elk City, OK)

In their next game, the Boomers clash with the Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 19. Woodward will attempt to improve on its 19-12 season record.
