The Alexandria Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Leesville Wampus Cats to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natchitoches Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Alexandria will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 18-2.
The Wampus Cats (1-10) will now prepare for their game against DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA). The Tigers enter the Division III District 1 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, DeQuincy gained a win over Delcambre (Delcambre, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
