The Altavista Colonels topped the host Buckingham Knights volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Colonels now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dan River for a Dogwood test on Tuesday, September 19. Altavista will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
The Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Eagles enter the James River test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Prince Edward County was knocked off by Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
