In Monday's non-league battle, the host River Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Berrien Springs Shamrocks.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eau Claire (Eau Claire, MI). The Beavers come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Eau Claire lost by Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Shamrocks clash with the Bridgman Bees (Bridgman, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Berrien Springs will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Bees come into the battle with a 14-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI).
